Welcome to NaukriScore, an HR-tech platform designed to promote transparency in hiring by providing verified employee history and behavior-based scoring. By using our services, you ("User", "You", or "Your") agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”), which govern your access to and use of www.naukriscore.com and all associated applications, APIs, and services operated by NaukriScore Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Company", "We", "Us", or "Our").
1. User Roles and Eligibility
NaukriScore provides services to:
- Employees / Data Principals: Individuals registering to create and manage their employment profile.
- Employers / HR Professionals: Organizations or authorized personnel providing or requesting employee history data.
- Recruiters / Subscribers: Verified employers seeking to evaluate candidate records (with consent).
You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By registering, accessing, or using our platform, you agree to:
- Comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy
- Provide truthful and accurate information
- Use the platform only for lawful, employment-related purposes
- Not misuse or attempt to manipulate the scoring system
3. Data Usage and Consent
We collect and process your data only after your explicit consent in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- Employees control who can access their NaukriScore or employment record.
- Employers must obtain prior consent from individuals before uploading feedback or requesting access.
- Consent logs are securely maintained for every data transaction.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time, after which your data will no longer be visible or processed (except where legally required).
4. Platform Features
NaukriScore allows:
- Employees to register and view their employment history and feedback
- Employers/HRs to submit standardized feedback (with proof if required)
- Prospective employers to request access to candidate records with employee authorization
- Dispute filing, corrections, and appeal mechanisms for employees
- A scoring algorithm to generate a behavior-based score (0–10)
We do not guarantee employment offers, hiring outcomes, or the accuracy of user-submitted data.
5. User Obligations
a. Employees (Data Principals)
- Must provide accurate identity and employment details
- Must not attempt to falsify data or impersonate others
- May dispute incorrect or defamatory information submitted by past employers
b. Employers / HR Contributors
- Must upload only verified, factual, and non-defamatory content
- Must confirm that consent has been obtained from the employee
- Must not use the platform to threaten, blacklist, or coerce any employee
c. Recruiters / Data Consumers
- May access employee records only with the candidate’s consent
- May not store, redistribute, or misuse accessed data
- Must use data solely for legitimate hiring purposes
6. Content Rules and Restrictions
Prohibited content includes:
- False, defamatory, or misleading data
- Sensitive personal data (e.g. health, religion, family details)
- Discriminatory or retaliatory statements
- Any content violating Indian laws or fundamental rights
We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to any content that violates these terms.
7. Data Security and Retention
We implement encryption, secure access controls, and monitoring to safeguard data. Employee records are retained:
- Only as long as the user remains active or has not withdrawn consent
- As required by law for dispute resolution or fraud prevention
You may request permanent deletion of your account and associated records at any time.
8. Scoring System Disclaimer
NaukriScore is an informational tool, not a hiring recommendation system. The behavior score is based on employer-submitted feedback and algorithmic interpretation. We do not certify or endorse any user based on the score. Employers are advised to use this as one of many hiring criteria.
9. Dispute Resolution and Grievance Policy
If you believe your data is inaccurate or unfair:
- You may file a dispute via your dashboard or email us at dispute@naukriscore.com
- We acknowledge disputes within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 business days
- You may escalate unresolved disputes to our Chief Compliance Officer or the Data Protection Board of India

10. Termination of Access
We may suspend or terminate your account for:
- Breach of these Terms
- Submission of false or harmful content
- Non-compliance with data protection or legal requirements
Termination does not affect rights or obligations accrued prior to termination.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for employment decisions made using NaukriScore
- We are not responsible for third-party content (e.g. HR-submitted data)
- Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the fees paid by the user in the preceding 3 months
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold NaukriScore harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Violation of these Terms
- Submission of inaccurate or defamatory content
- Misuse of access to personal data
13. Intellectual Property
All content, algorithms, designs, and trademarks on NaukriScore are the exclusive property of NaukriScore Technologies Pvt. Ltd. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute our proprietary features without written permission.
14. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India.
